Inda + Mely, located in San Bruno, California, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting
your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your
information when you contact us, visit our website, or use our automated phone and text services.
1. Information We Collect. When you contact us, make a reservation, place an order or catering
inquiry, call us, or sign up for updates, we may collect your name, email address, phone number,
event or order details, and any other information you voluntarily provide. When you call or text us,
we collect your phone number and the details of your request. Calls may be answered by an
automated AI assistant (see Section 9), and we do not record calls. When you visit our website, we
may automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and the
date and time of access.
2. How We Use Your Information. We use your information to respond to inquiries; process
reservations, orders, and catering requests; send confirmations and updates; operate our automated
phone assistant and text messages (with your consent); improve our services; and comply with legal
obligations. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
3. Cookies and Tracking. Our website may use cookies to enhance your experience and analyze
traffic. You can adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies if you prefer.
4. Service Providers. We use trusted service providers to operate our website, reservations,
ordering, and phone/text services on our behalf and under contract — including our website
platform, our reservation platform, and the providers that power our automated phone assistant and
messaging (voice, telephony, speech-to-text, and AI providers). These providers process your
information only to provide services to us, not for their own purposes. We do not sell your personal
information, and we do not sell or share your text-message (SMS) opt-in information.
5. Data Security. We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information.
However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
6. Children's Privacy. Our services are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect personal information from children.
7. Data Retention. We keep brief call summaries for about 30 days, and reservation, order, and
contact details for about 12 months, after which we delete or anonymize them. You may request
deletion of your information at any time.
8. Your California Privacy Rights. California residents have the right to know, access, correct, and
delete the personal information we hold, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell your
personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below; we will not
discriminate against you for doing so.
9. Automated Phone Assistant. Some calls to Inda + Mely are answered by an automated AI
assistant. It helps with hours, the menu, and reservations; discloses that it is automated; does not
record calls; does not take card payments by phone; and can connect you with a person at any
time.
10. Text Messaging (SMS). When you provide your phone number to Inda + Mely — by placing an order, making a reservation, requesting catering, or checking the SMS opt-in box on our website — you may receive transactional text messages such as order confirmations, pickup-ready notices, reservation confirmations, and catering updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. No mobile information (including your SMS opt-in and consent) will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging consent is not a condition of any purchase.
11. Changes to This Policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be
posted on this page with a revised effective date.
